Dr. Francis & Beverly Saunders

Dr. Francis and Beverly Saunders have been married for 40+ years and have shared very full and lucrative careers in the US as well as The Bahamas.  They are both graduates of McNeese University. Francis served as Captain and Chief Force Medical Officer for the Royal Bahamas Defense Force for over 23 years.  Prior to his service in The Bahamas, Whitty, as he is commonly referred to, served in the US Air Force as an EMT Specialist.  He served in the Houston Police Department before returning to the Bahamas in 1985.  He went on to complete his medical training and joined The  Royal Bahamas Defence Force, where he built and managed a team of medical technicians and specialists.  Under his leadership, he initiated leadership and management training, technical skills training, built regulatory guidelines for the government , set up a succession planning strategy, and consulted with the Royal Bahamas Police Force. After retirement, he was called and currently serves as Chief Force Medical Consultant to the military. Dr. Saunders is known for his ability to lead in very complex and challenging environments.  He serves as a coach and mentor to senior leaders and team members.  His influence in the medical field in The Bahamas has earned him the respect of the Bahamian Government and his peers, and has created demand for his services.   

Beverly Saunders is a Professional Human Resources Consultant, Trainer, Speaker, Coach, Mentor, and Spiritual Advisor. 

After college, she served as a Home Economist and went on to pursue a career in Retail as a buyer and HR Professional.  Beverly and Francis relocated to The Bahamas in 1985.  She was hired as the Senior Manager of Industry Training at The Ministry of Tourism, where she was responsible for Information and Customer Service Training for the entire Hospitality Industry in The Bahamas.  She trained at all levels, including line staff to senior executives.  She was wooed by Atlantis Resort Paradise Island and became the Vice President of Training and Organization Development.   With an employee population of over 8500 employees, and annual sales of over 500 million a year,  Atlantis is the largest upscale resort in the Caribbean Region and was responsible for the highest revenue generating destination resort in The Bahamas and the region.  Beverly and her team created and executed customer service training, technology training, leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement. She was responsible for establishing the internationally renowned Atlantis University, the in-house leadership and customer service training institute.   After 15 years of service, she left Atlantis and launched her consulting firm, The Learning Connection.  One of her clients made her an offer she couldn't refuse, so she became the first female Vice President of Human Resources for Cable Bahamas Ltd. ( a telecommunications company based in Nassau) for seven years.  She and Francis decided to return to the US in 2022 after purchasing a home in Houston in 2019.
